Zucchini is one of the most versatile veggies – right up there with cauliflower if you ask me!
It can be breaded and fried, sliced and sauteed, seasoned and air fried, and even turned into noodles. What more could you want out of a vegetable??
We use zucchini as a way to enjoy some of our favorite recipes, like tacos, pizza, buffalo chicken, and more! And if you’re missing French fries you’ll need to try out my zucchini fries! They actually get super crispy and are so darn good!
Is zucchini allowed on keto?
Yes, absolutely! Zucchini is a low carb vegetable that is rich in nutrients. One medium zucchini contains 6 grams of carbs and 2 grams of fiber. There are just 33 calories and .6 grams of fat per medium zucchini, too!
When is zucchini in season?
While zucchini is available in most US grocery stores year round, it’s a summer squash. It’s peak season is June through late August.

I saw a recipe on your web site recently for a low carb dish with Italian sausage and zuccini. I bought some if the ingredients and now I can’t find the recipe. Can you help please?

We don’t have a recipe with Italian sausage and zucchini, but I did just share this on Facebook and it’s been popular. Could it have been this one: https://thatlowcarblife.com/low-carb-goulash/
