"Chex Mix" Roasted Walnuts

These roasted walnuts are my low carb spin on Chex Mix! The seasonings are the same as traditional Chex Mix, but we skip out on the cereal and just use it for roasting nuts.

Ingredients

  • 3 cups walnut halves
  • 2 tablespoons melted butter
  • 2 tablespoons Worcestershire sauce
  • 1 teaspoon seasoned salt
  • 1 teaspoon onion powder
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon Tabasco more to taste

Instructions

  • Preheat oven to 250 degrees.
  • Add all of the ingredients to a mixing  bowl and stir well to coat the nuts in the seasoning.
  • Spread the nuts on a parchment lined baking sheet and roast for 30 minutes, stirring every 10 minutes. 
  • Let cool completely before storing in an air-tight container.

You may use any mix of nuts you prefer, however the carb count will change accordingly.
