Whisk the egg in a small bowl. Stir in the cheese, ham, and garlic salt to combine.
Spoon half of the mixture into the hot waffle iron, close, and cook for 3-4 minutes or until your waffle iron stops steaming and the waffle is cooked through.
Remove the waffle to a plate and repeat with the remaining batter.
Stir together the mayo and mustard to use as a dip.
Slice the waffles in halves or quarters and serve with the dip.

You may use any cheese you prefer.This recipe yields 2 waffles. I'd recommend eating 2 as an easy lunch or 1 as a snack. The nutrition information is based on 2 waffles.
