Slow Cooker BBQ Chicken Wings

These keto chicken wings are made in the slow cooker. So easy!! And the low carb BBQ sauce is just two ingredients and tastes amazing. We put it on everything!

Ingredients

  • 4 pounds chicken wing pieces
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1 teaspoon pepper
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1/2 cup chicken broth
  • ¼ cup reduced sugar ketchup
  • 3 tablespoons Italian salad dressing

Instructions

  • Add the chicken wing pieces to a 6 quart slow cooker.
  • Sprinkle the chicken with salt, pepper, and garlic powder. Add the chicken broth and cover.
  • Cook on high for 1 hour and 30 minutes.
  • Remove chicken from the slow cooker and place in a single layer on a rimmed baking sheet. 
  • Place chicken under the broiler for 2-3 minutes to allow skin to crisp. Keep a close eye on the chicken as it can burn easily.
  • In a small bowl, stir together the ketchup and Italian salad dressing until smooth. Brush mixture evenly among the chicken pieces.
  • Place the coated chicken under the broiler and watch carefully for the sauce to caramelize, about 2 minutes. 
  • Remove from the oven and serve immediately.

Notes

These low carb chicken wings are great dipped in ranch dressing!
